Jess is a London-based performer originally from Swansea, South Wales. She is represented by ML International Talent.
Jess is a proud Celt: born and raised in Swansea, with family from Southern Ireland (including Waterford, Howth and Malahide), as well as ancestors from Padua, northern Italy, it is no wonder she is fascinated by languages and skilled with accents.
As part of her degree, a BA Joint Hons in French and Drama from Royal Holloway, she took an Erasmus year in Paris. Jess studied Theatre for a term at La Sorbonne Nouvelle, shadowed the in-house theatre company for Théâtre Montansier in Versailles, "La Compagnie de La Reine", and taught street jazz at Sèvres-Lecourbe Leisure Centre. Upon graduation, she moved to London where she completed an MA in Acting at the Academy of Live and Recorded Arts (ALRA), in 2014.
Since graduating, Jess has been consistently working across all media: she’s an actress, singer, voice over and performance capture artist. Career highlights include playing Queen Elizabeth in Antic Disposition’s critically acclaimed tour of Richard III (reviews can be found here), Elvira in Blithe Spirit with Changeling Theatre, performing as a concert soloist in India with Toccata Productions, voicing Margaret and Ellie for computer game G2 Fighter and providing performance and facial capture for one of Oxford VR’s ground-breaking projects.
Jess is also a writer and many of her comedy sketches have been performed live and filmed. She is currently writing her first full-length drama about the women of Kilmainham Gaol. More information coming soon.
